Following the teaser that an Alien Chapter was on the way to Dead by Daylight, more information regarding the chapter, including the new K!ller, Survivor, Map, and release date, has been disclosed.
Alien is one of the most iconic horror franchises in cinematic history, thus it was only a matter of time before it joined the ranks of Pinhead from Hellraiser and Sadako from The Ring in Dead by Daylight’s horror pantheon.

Alien DBD Release Date
The release date and time countdown for the Dead By Daylight x Alien Chapter 29 PTB was set to August 8th at 08:00 PDT, 11:00 EST, and 16:00 BST.
The aforementioned start times and dates are provided by the DBDNews Discord. Behavior Interactive has announced that the complete reveal of Chapter 29 will take place at this time.
The k!ller and survivor have not been disclosed, but it is expected to be the Xenomorph, with Ellen Ripley as the survivor. Ellen Ripley will most likely look like Sigourney Weaver and have spoken lines similar to Nicolas Cage. Dead By Daylight has even officially confirmed the date through their Twitter account.

As of this writing, there is no release date for the chapter outside of the PTB. It will, however, be released before the end of August.
Ripley And The Xenomorph Enter The Fog On August 29
On August 8, Behaviour released a cinematic trailer for Dead by Daylight: Alien, as promised. On Tuesday, August 29, the Xenomorph will join the fun as a new K!ller, while Ellen Ripley will enter the Fog as a Survivor.
The Public Test Build (PTB) for this update is already available, allowing Steam users to try out a beta version of the new features.

Dead By Daylight X Alien Chapter 29 PTB Instructions
Fans of Dead By Daylight will be able to play the DBD x Alien Chapter 29 PTB on PC only through Steam. To play the public test build, simply follow the procedures below if you own the game on Steam:
- Open Steam
- Proceed to Library
- Right-click Dead By Daylight and select Properties
- Click Betas
- Open the dropdown menu and select Public Tests
- Restart Steam and open DBD
