Both men have been friends with people in the comedy world for decades, so it seems likely that anyone would jump at the chance to join them on the SNL stage. Selena Gomez, who was in the movie “Only Murders in the Building” with them, seems like a good choice. We also hope that Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph, Larry David and John Mulaney will come as guests.
But the natural darkhorse cameo candidate would be Chevy Chase. If the Three Amigos got back together, it would rock the house. But Chase’s tense relationship with SNL and a lot of the comedy world over the past few years makes it impossible.
