Tish Cyrus is engaged!
In an Instagram post on Saturday night, Miley and Noah Cyrus’s mother, who is 55 years old, said she would marry Dominic Purcell.
“A thousand times… YES @dominicpurcell,” Tish wrote in the text of her post, which showed two photos of the happy couple.
In the first picture, Purcell, 53, has his arms around Tish’s waist, and his beautiful engagement ring is front and center. In the second shot, Tish smiles and looks at the camera while her Prison Break boyfriend leans in to kiss her.
Tish and Purcell made their relationship official on Instagram in November after she posted a cute picture of them hugging.
Tish wrote over the picture, “Thanks for the cute photo, @vijatm,” added a red heart emoji, and tagged Purcell.
She later shared a quote: “In God’s perfect timing, everything will turn out right!” Tish wrote in her own words, “Sometimes that’s hard to believe, but it’s so TRUE.”
A few months later, Tish gave fans an inside look at how she and Purcell spent the holidays.
“What a great way to start the New Year! “Let’s go 2023 #mileysnewyearseveparty #thankful,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Tish posted a picture of Purcell kissing her on the cheek at her daughter Miley’s New Year’s Eve particular. She also posted photos of herself with friends and of Brandi Cyrus, 30, and Miley, 30, singing.
The news that Tish is getting engaged comes after she and her ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus said they were getting a divorce last April. Tish filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, after more than 28 years of marriage on the grounds of “irreconcilable differences,” according to papers that PEOPLE got at the time. This was just days before she made a statement.
“After 30 years, five wonderful children, and a lifetime of memories, we’ve decided to go our separate ways, not with sadness but with love in our hearts,” the couple said in a joint statement to PEOPLE, which was only given to PEOPLE by a family representative. “We’ve grown up together and raised a family we’re so proud of. Now it’s time to go our separate ways.”
“We will always be family; as friends and parents, we look forward to more wonderful times. We didn’t make this choice quickly, or because it was easy, but with so much going on in the world, we wanted to give some clarity and closure so we could keep our attention on what’s important,” the statement said. “Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus, with love and hope.”
Tish and Billy Ray, who is 61, got married in 1993. They have three children together: Miley, 23. Noah, 23, and Braison, who is 28. The man who played Doc also took in Tish’s 35-year-old daughter Brandi and her 34-year-old son Trace from her first marriage.
Billy Ray, meanwhile, announced his engagement to Australian singer Firerose in November.
