Tina Turner has remembered her son Ronald “Ronnie” Turner, who died suddenly on Thursday at the age of 62.
“Ronnie, you left us way too soon. “I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son, when I’m sad,” the Grammy-winning singer wrote in the caption of a black-and-white Instagram photo of herself in a thoughtful pose with her eyes closed.
Afida Turner, who is married to Ronnie, said it on Instagram on Friday. When paramedics got to Ronnie’s house in the San Fernando Valley, they found him struggling to breathe. Rescuers tried CPR, but he was later said to be dead.
Afida Turner wrote in a series of photos of her late husband Ronnie Turner, “My god Ronnie turner a true angel huge soul highly spiritual my husband my best friend my baby iyour mummy your nurse I did the best to the end this time I was not able to save you love u for this 17 years this is very bad I am very mad.”
“This is a tragedy. Your brother Craig, your father Ike Turner, and your mother Aline should all rest in peace.” so unfair,” she continued.
No one knew what caused Ronnie’s death, but it was said that he had been sick for a while, including cancer.
Tina’s oldest son, Craig, died by suicide in 2018 at 59.
