Becky G is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, soccer star Sebastian Lletget!
Friday, the couple shared the news with their millions of social media followers (Dec. 9). “Our spot forever,” they captioned the joint post, which included three photos: one of Lletget proposing on one knee, another of the couple hugging and the third of Becky G with a huge smile showing her oval-shaped diamond ring. Additionally, the couple wore identical black leather jackets.
The Mexican-American hitmaker and Lletget have been dating since 2016. Last month, Becky and Lletget walked the red carpet at the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas, where she was nominated for the best urban song with “MAMIII.” Becky has been his cheerleader since Lletget’s transfer from the LA Galaxy to other MLS teams, such as FC Dallas.
Becky’s other hit-making friends, Karol G, Anitta, ngela Aguilar and Leslie Grace, reacted quickly to the happy post announcing their engagement. They all sent their congratulations.
“OMG Mamiiii … I hope every night is a wedding night and every moon is a honeymoon!!!! FELICIDADES,” wrote Karol.
Anitta, on the other hand, is already planning what she will wear to the wedding. She wrote, “I’m going to get my dress ready RIGHT NOW wowwwww,” after she had already said, “Ahhhhhhh.”
Most recently, Becky G’s song “Baile Con Mi Ex” became her first No. 1 song as a solo artist on the Latin Airplay chart. The song is on her Esquemas album. When she found out, she told Billboard, “I screamed and woke up my man.” “I felt unfortunate.”
