Dallas Jenkins’ historical drama series “The Chosen” is based on the life of Jesus Christ.
This film follows Jesus of Nazareth as he climbs to prominence and begins teaching in public. The first season of The Chosen: Jesus Christ Story premiered on VidAngel and the exclusive app The Chosen: Jesus Christ Story on December 9, 2019. The first segment is The Shepherd, a short video created for a Christmas Eve service in an Illinois church.
There has never been a multi-season television series based on Jesus Christ’s life. For its charming story and devotion to the gospels, the show has received critical acclaim. It is the most watched television show on the planet. The show had been seen by over 150 million people by the time it ended in June 2021. The second season of the historical drama has concluded, and fans are eager to learn what happens next.
When Will The Chosen Season 3 Be Released?
The Chosen Season 3 is set to expected to premiere end of 2022 on Vid Angel Studios and The Chosen App, following the completion of the screenplay in February 2022 and the second week of filming on May 15, 2022, at the Capernaum Studios.
This season, like the previous two, will feature eight sacred episodes with an average running time of 52 minutes.

The Chosen Season 3 Plot
The Chosen Season 2 concludes with the preparation of Sermon and the disciples arguing about Jesus’ disappearance. A high-ranking Sanhedrin member was taken aback when he saw Shmuel’s report of Jesus, while thousands of people flocked to the sermon to participate. Pharisees and Quintus will try to assassinate one of Christ’s closest disciples in Season 3 and gradually discover Jesus as the main threat to the fall of Roman government. The disciples, on the other hand, will oppose the actions of the Roman Emperors.
On the other hand, John will be seen entering Jerusalem and being arrested for speaking out against the evil King’s wrongdoings, but he will be executed ruthlessly by Herod. He will not, however, be spared after that, and God will punish him and exact revenge on his beloved disciple, John the Baptist.
