Marvel Snap Patch Notes is a well-balanced card game with a wide array of viable strategies for building winning decks. While some cards and strategies will undoubtedly dominate, there is plenty of replay value to please fans of Discard, Destroy, On Reveal, and even Move.
However, the Marvel Snap metagame is subject to the intermittent dominance of a small set of cards. Second Dinner’s developers aren’t afraid to make significant changes to the game’s balance. Recent improvements, for instance, have focused primarily on power tweaks, modifying statistics rather than impacts.
Second Dinner plans to send these larger monthly patches to the game, which will also include more typical updates and bug fixes, unless something is seriously wrong, in which case it will be repaired in a Marvel Snap weekly OTA update. Read on for a complete rundown of the most recent rule adjustments.
The Latest Marvel Snap Patch Notes
Current patch notes for the year 2023 may be found in the list below. However, the weekly balancing updates that are issued OTA (over the air) on Thursdays will not be included in the final “major” monthly patch notes presented by the developers at Second Dinner.

Balance Updates
This patch also includes a small number of updated cards. In addition, we aimed to set reasonable expectations for future card-patch modifications. The purpose of “patch day” is to implement changes that cannot be done over-the-air.
That frequently involves balance-impacting modifications, but also frequently includes interesting changes we want to test. It’s also awesome when they coincide, as with the Spider-Man update from the previous patch.
Even though we lock patch changes to cards at least two OTAs in advance of the patch’s release, our OTA releases continue to be our primary tool for balance. This allows us the greatest degree of responsiveness and makes things as interesting for you as possible.
