Entrepreneurs from all across the country participate in this show, where they present their business ideas to a panel of judges to receive financial assistance and good business counseling.
An impressive number of 62,000 young aspirants took part in the inaugural season, each bringing their innovative business ideas to the table. Out of 62,000 applicants, just 198 made it through the PI and GD rounds to the stage round, presenting their ideas.
Only 65 applicants were selected for the business ventures out of 198 applicants. The critics praised the entire premise of the concert, and the show itself proved to be a big success!
It was originally planned for only 30 episodes, but the producers saw how popular it was and decided to make it a total of 35 to accommodate the growing fan base.
Although Shark Tank India was a huge hit on Indian television, it also served as a breeding ground for budding entrepreneurs and helped them grow their businesses.
The show has achieved a successful run of 13 seasons, which premiered in India in 2009. The show is the official Indian adaptation of the popular American television series of the same name that has enjoyed a lengthy run in the United States.

Despite the lack of formal confirmation from Sony TV on a possible second season of the show, it is almost certain that there will be a second season based on its current popularity.
Additionally, the fact that the original American version of the show ran for 13 seasons gives viewers hope that an announcement regarding Shark Tank India season 2 will be made in the not too distant future.

Shark Tank India season 2 is expected to feature some additional entrepreneurs, although viewers have embraced and appreciated the current group of seven sharks.
