Samsung: Specifications Leak For The Samsung Tab S6 Lite , Release Updates

Samsung is ready to add to its tablet lineup with a new, cheaper option. They will most likely call this new device the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. As the name suggests, it will be a cheaper version of the currently existing Samsung Galaxy Tab S6.

A “Lite” Version

They’ve used the “Lite” moniker before when referring to cheaper, toned-down versions of their flagship devices. So, it is safe to assume that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will follow that trend.

The cheaper price tag doesn’t mean that Samsung isn’t packing this device full of features, though. The rumoured specs for Galaxy Tab S6 make it out to be quite the beastly machine. The Exynos 9611 chipset certainly isn’t Samsung’s top-of-the-line model, but it’s no slouch, either.

Combine that with a respectable 4 GB RAM, 64 or 128 GB storage, and we have ourselves a nice machine. The possibility of it running Android 10 right out the box sweetens the deal even further.

A Possibly Gorgeous Display

The real star of any tablet has to be the display. That bigger screen provides a great media consumption experience and a big enough work surface. That’s why tablets, in general, have become the preferred devices for people who enjoy binging shows on Netflix or wish to do some light productivity work.

Samsung tends to have the best displays on the market. The Galaxy Tab S6’s gorgeous 10.5-inch AMOLED display sports a resolution of 2560×1600. The Lite variant is sure to have a display that’s close to it. For its rumoured price of around $399, for the base level, WiFi-only variant, this becomes quite the proposition.

Some Unique Features

That’s not even mentioning fact that it’s almost certainly going to include a stylus as well. Samsung’s S-Pen, which appears in their Note lineup as well, has tons of nifty features built into it. Having an accessory like that one on a cheaper tablet could help it stand out from the rest.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is a fairly inevitable launch, too. It seems to be succeeding the Galaxy Tab S5e. Right on time, too, since the Galaxy Tab S5e came out in February 2019.

There are numerous credible leaks, such as a Bluetooth listing, FCC certifications, benchmarks, even seemingly official product renders floating around on the internet. So, if you happen to be in the market for a budget tablet, you may wish to wait till this device is out officially.
