After 30 years together, Matt and Amy Roloff announced their plans to divorce in 2015.
Despite their four kids, twins Jeremy and Zachary, Molly and Jacob, the exes have decided to legally split. In a statement given by both parents together, they vowed to remain cordial for their children—not only for them but for the business which they cofounded.
And they kept to that agreement since their split, however, she has decided to leave behind her life on the farm as she prepares to marry her new love, Chris Marek.
It was reported in July of this year that Matt had removed Amy from the company secretary position after she bought an independent house in October 2019.

Even though they were long separated, dividing up their memories and belongings was difficult for the former husband and wife. “We’ve worked out a your stuff is yours and my stuff is mine,” Matt admitted in an interview with Oprah on their reality show. Divorcing and dividing up property items can be a long and frustrating process.

They had very different views on commitment.
In his book, Against Tall Odds , Matt detailed how he and his ex-wife had different commitments since they never cited it as playing a role in their separation. We are different people and tend to have widely differing perspectives on commitments.

Even while they’ve faced challenges, Matt and Amy have worked hard to get along for the sake of their children. In November 2019, he even made it a point to uphold the importance of family unity in a caption about his social media presence.

Matt has moved on since divorcing his wife, Amy. She herself has engaged to her new love Chris.
The happily engaged woman told the publication that she never thought she would be getting married again, but is still looking forward to it.

Amy is preparing to tie the knot on Roloff farms.
In a June episode of LPBW, Amy explained they decided to marry on the Roloff farms because that was what made more sense in regards to COVID.
The former couple did have a prenuptial agreement in place that outlines when they can start receiving the money from the divorce, as well as their relationship with each other which could be seen on a TV program.
I still think we have a shot at finishing this structure for Amy and Chris’s big wedding day. I have the very best crew working on it, with dads of four kids among my assistants.
