Sony is opening up invites to allow people to pre-order the PS5 from them directly. It’s only applicable to customers in the US, though. If you’re interested, you can head to the webpage and submit your PlayStation Network ID. Then, if you’re lucky, you may get an email from Sony saying you can place your pre-order for the PS5.
Sony Inviting PSN Users For PS5 Pre-Order
“There will be a limited quantity of PS5 consoles available for pre-order, so we will be inviting some of our existing consumers to be one of the first to pre-order one from PlayStation. Pre-order reservations will be taken on a first-come-first-serve basis, so once you get an invite via email, we encourage you to follow instructions and act fast,” it reads.

Accessories Will Also Be Available For Pre-Order
There’s also an FAQ page which offers a few more details about how this whole process will work. Users who get pre-order invites can only purchase 1 console. This console could either be the regular PS5 or the PS5 Digital Edition.
They can also take their pick from all the accessories that Sony has unveiled so far. So, you add up to two each of the new DualSense controller, charging stations, Pulse 3D headphones, media remotes and HD cameras.

PS5 Pre-Orders Will Only Ship To US Addresses
“As long as your product selection falls within unit limits, you may pre-order as many or as few products as you’d like,” reads the FAQ. It also clarifies that the pre-order invites are for the PS5 consoles specifically. The other accessories will be open to purchase for everyone else as long as their stocks last.
The FAQ also addresses customers outside the US. In case one such user gets a pre-order invite, they can still go through with the process. However, their shipping address must be based in the US. If the shipping address is outside the US, Sony will cancel that pre-order.
