The Outlast Trials is an upcoming video game developed by Red Barrels. It’s set to release on consoles like the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in early 2024. The game offers a unique multiplayer horror experience, where players can team up to survive chilling trials.
Interestingly, it will allow players on PC and consoles to play together, enhancing social interactions. The game also gets a Halloween update on PC, featuring new content like Program 4, a fresh Trial, MK-Challenges, and a limited-time Halloween event with unique rewards. - Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in certain areas.
- Fixed an issue where enemies could sometimes clip through walls.
- Fixed an issue where the flashlight could sometimes not work correctly.
- Quality-of-life improvements:
- The map has been updated to make it easier to navigate.
- The inventory system has been improved.
- The controls have been tweaked to make them more responsive.
- Balance changes:
- The enemies have been made more challenging.
- The healing items have been made more scarce.
