Coronavirus was a new kind of pandemic that took over the world in less than one year. Currently, there are over 26.6 M cases worldwide, with the U.S.A. being the most infected at 6.34M people infected in total.
As of now, the death toll of Coronavirus is 191K, yet there are talks of the virus not being as dangerous as it seems. Looking at the current conditions and incidents, the virus appears to infect the unhealthiest the most. People with prior health conditions are at risk of catching the virus.
Currently, no vaccine is available to treat this. Still, there are a lot of medical institutions, corporate pharmaceuticals and homegrown scientists around the world who took upon the task of creating one. The U.S.A, Russia, India and Japan claim to be working upon vaccines that could help get rid of the Coronavirus. Every country says they are on the last stage of testing and approving. But vaccines usually take a long time to be made and then, circulated in the masses.
Dr Fauci, on the other hand, says that Summer season is the weather and the way to get rid of Coronavirus. Nation’s top Immunologist, Dr Fauzi MD, confirmed that sunlight can kill Coronavirus. During an Instagram live interview with the actor Matthew McConaughey, Dr Fauzi was asked if sunlight would be of any help to contain the situation. “It does. That’s one of the reasons why outside in the sun when you are interacting… That is much, much better than being inside,” Fauci said. He also concluded, saying “Outside is always better than inside.”
Dr Fauzi is not the only person supporting his claims of sunlight being superficial in killing the Coronavirus. It was the ‘Journal Of Photochemistry And Photobiology’ that backed the claim. It was mentioned that “90% or more of SARS-CoV-2 virus will be inactivated after being exposed [to summer sun] for 11 to 34 minutes.” They also said, “”99% of SARS-CoV-2 may be inactivated within the two hours around solar noon during summer in most U.S. cities located south of latitude 43 degrees north,”
