On Saturday, April 22, at his domicile in Nelamangala, close to Bengaluru, television actor Sampath J Ram allegedly committed suicide at 35. Even though there is no proof, suicide has been thought to be the cause. Several news stories say he was depressed and didn’t have enough work, which drove him to do something extreme.
Telugu actor and director Rajesh Dhruva took to Facebook and mourned his demise. The post, as translated from Kannada, reads,
“Son, we do not have the strength to bear your parting. So many movies are to be made, There is so much fighting to be done, There is still plenty of time to make your dreams come true. We still have to see you on the big stage. Please come back.”
The actor got married only a year ago, according to the rumors. But so far, no one in his family has said anything public about it. The news sources also say the actor’s last rites will be done today.
