Jaden Smith, offspring of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith, is appointed as host for a new Snapchat Original. The Solution Committee is about educating the youth and making sure they feel empowered and ready to vote. Likewise, he will explore changes regarding racial and social justice issues in his upcoming show.
The unscripted series will offer a real and humane look at the injustice our society is facing right now. It indicates that young activists fighting to dismantle a political system that, for centuries, has perpetuated systemic racism. The host will reportedly team up with rising adolescent minds.

The show will focus on realistic solutions for topics for instance:
- Criminal Justice Reform
- Gender Justice
- Voting Access
- Economic Justice
- Housing
- Climate Change
- Education Reform
In addition to Jaden Smith, other celebrity friends such as Common, Willow Smith, Hailey Beiber, Bella Hadid, Yara Shahidi, Lena Waithe Janelle Monae and Phoebe Robinson will feature on the show.
The show comprises of eight episodes- all of them- ending with a swipe up to register to vote. The first two instalments will focus on The Power Of Vote. In addition to that, the snippet will feature Smith along with Activist Gabe Fleisher, Hailey Bieber and Yara Shahidi. Gabe Fleisher is founder of the non-partisan organization Wake Up To Politics. Winter BreeAnn is also among talks to feature. She is the student leader for Women’s March Youth Empower who helped launch the #PowerToThePolls campaign.

Jaden, however, shared in a statement that a lot of young minds, from the age of 18 to 23, refrain from their voting right mainly because they don’t have the information or don’t know where to get it.
Ahead of National Voter Registration Day (September 22), the Solution Committee will premier on September 21 only on Snapchat. Before, likewise, the election scheduled on November 3. New episodes will be released Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
