During the appointment, the doctor tells her that she doesn’t need to worry about getting pregnant by accident or using birth control because she has cervical insufficiency or an incompetent cervix. Because of her condition, Tessa might not be able to get pregnant or carry her baby to full term if she does. Her cervix is too weak for her to be able to give birth to a healthy baby, and she could have a premature birth if she gets pregnant.
Do Hardin And Tessa Get Back Together?
They go back to Landon’s house and settle in to talk about how their lives have changed. When Tessa comes in, Hardin is having a bad dream on the couch. She makes him feel better as he drifts off to sleep by lying down on the sofa next to him. The next day, when Tessa finishes her shift, Hardin is not there. This makes her sad. As she walks back to the house, Hardin catches up to her, and the two of them walk back together.
That night, as Tessa and Hardin make dinner together, Tessa says that Hardin seems “different.” Tessa finds a transcript of Hardin’s book in the end, and a few days later, she reads it from beginning to end. When he gets back from his meeting, Tessa talks to him and accuses him of using her life and stories in a bad way. During their fight, Hardin says he’s sorry because he never wanted the manuscript to be published.
