Trump’s Last Chance To Deny The Story!
The story about Trump calling American soldiers ‘losers’ and ‘suckers’ was authored by editor-in-chief Jeffery Goldberg. The information had cited several sources along with firsthand knowledge of Trump’s remarks.
Trump, according to a publication cancelled one his trips to Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris in 2018 to honour the dead service members. Moreover, it was after scrapping this trip, Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” Reportedly, Trump had also referred to Marines who dies during the Battle of Belleau Wood in France as “suckers.”
However, Trump has tirelessly tried to deny the report. It seems that this tweet was his last salvo of days-long effort to curb the story.
