Season 2 of Fate: The Winx Saga has officially begun production, and one of the most adored characters from the original animated series will make her live-action debut.

Flora, a Latina fairy, was omitted from the first episodes, with her cousin Terra (Eliot Salt) ostensibly taking her place at Alfea College. Indeed, many fans were disappointed by this choice.

The creators want to fix this in their second season, which will see the addition of Paulina Chávez as Flora, a fairy from the natural world.

In addition to newcomers Brandon Grace and Normal People actress Éanna Hardwicke, the season two cast includes Grey and Sebastian. Everything we know about season two of Fate: The Winx Saga so far is listed below.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 Release Date

Netflix has confirmed that Fate: The Winx Saga will be returning for a second season.

The six episodes of season one hardly touched the surface of this fascinating world and its strong fairies,” creator Brian Young stated in a statement.

Netflix has stated that season 2 will begin production in Ireland in late 2021. Let’s perform some fast math with that in mind: Filming on Fate’s first season didn’t begin until September 2019, more than a year after the show’s announcement in March 2018.

A season two is expected to take at least another year to produce, even if Netflix can begin production and shooting right away—though Netflix has been known to speed up its deadlines while working on following seasons of popular programs. The release date of late summer 2022 seems reasonable, if not entirely realistic.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 Plot

As Bloom, the fire fairy at the heart of Fate, found in real-time while facing an army of evil beings, the first season of Fate came to a close.

Since they’ll all need to be at their best to defeat the evil forces still at work in Alfea and the other realms, a second season is likely to see Bloom learn more about how to manage and properly wield her magical powers as well as further explore her fairy friends’ journeys into magical self-discovery.

Bloom’s actress, Abigail Cowen, hinted at this in a recent interview about the first season’s end. “That’s only a tidbit of what her abilities will be. If we’re lucky enough to have one for the second season, I hope this is just the beginning of many more.

We waited until the end to tease and show the audience—like, get ready because this will become heated, I believe. I think “According to Cowen, who spoke to The Wrap about the matter.

I’m interested to see where she goes with it and what that does for her and her self-esteem and her general sense of self, again assuming we get a second season,” she said.
