He made some good money playing baseball in the Major Leagues, getting $170,000 from the Minnesota Twins in 1998, $200,000 from the Chicago Cubs in 1999, and $230,000 from the San Diego Padres in 2000. Daniel Joseph Serafini, born on January 25, 1974, in San Francisco, California, is a well-known former baseball relief pitcher from America who threw with his left hand. His baseball adventure started in 1992 when the Minnesota Twins picked him in the first round of the MLB draft. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 12 years, switching between six different teams and leaving a lasting impression.

Serafini began his MLB journey in 1996, playing for the Minnesota Twins. Though he only played 12 games with a not-so-great ERA of 7.36, his skills caught attention. By December 1996, he moved to the Chicago Cubs, enjoying three good seasons there. In 1998, he did really well, winning 6 games and losing only 2, with a decent ERA of 3.28 across 48 games.

Afterward, Serafini played for a handful of other teams: the San Diego Padres in 1999, Pittsburgh Pirates in 2001, and Cincinnati Reds in 2003. He stayed with the Reds until 2005, then got traded to the Colorado Rockies and played there until he retired in 2007.
