  • Chipset Comparison 

When it comes to the chipset, both Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra feature the same chipset. Both of them feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ (7 nm+) SoC with Octa-Core CPU and Adreno 650 GPU in the USA. Whereas the Global Variant of the devices features Exynos 990 (7 nm+) SoC with Octa-Core CPU and Mali-G77 MP11 GPU. As per the info, the chipset on both variants of Note 20 Ultra provides a little bit of extra performance when compared to Note 20.

  • Memory Comparison

Coming to the memory variants the Note 20 is available in two variants. The device comes in 8GB RAM /128GB ROM and 8GB RAM/256GB ROM. Unfortunately, the device doesn’t support expandable storage. When it comes to memory technology, the device with UFS 3.1.

Both rear main camera shooters of the devices feature OIS and EIS and are capable of recording 8K videos. We can say that both the devices are pretty powerful and futuristic with excellent design. When it comes to Note 20, the company should have been better as the device features Gorilla Glass 5, which is a very old display technology. In addition to that, the device only supports the 60Hz refresh rate which is an old-school thing as every flagship these days feature at least a 90Hz display. Note 20 feels like a bit-overpriced as the device lacks some of the basic things that customers consider checking before buying a device.

When it comes to Note 20 Ultra, there are no complaints and have a pretty good price tag for those premium specifications. The only thing Note 20 Ultra lacks is that the device limits to 60Hz refresh rate when it goes to QHD resolution.
