Burt Reynolds Early Life
He was born Burton Leon Reynolds, Jr. on February 11, 1936, in Lansing, Michigan. He received a football scholarship to Florida State University. His roommate during his tenure at FSU was Lee Corso, an ESPN analyst and future college coach.
