Isidro and Serpico began the chapter on the Seahorse ship by discussing Schierke, whom they had been looking for. Isidro enquired whether Serpico required anything from him, to which Isidro responded with an update on their predicament.
When Casca was kidnapped, Isidro directed Serpico to track her out. Schierke, on the other hand, was eager to undertake a magical ceremony. Schierke wanted to improve her perceptive talents and expand her consciousness by engaging in a prolonged meditation throughout the rite. Her surroundings were carefully observed, and she noted a dense gathering of OD in the distance, flowing towards a specific location. She decided to follow the path, which led her to Guts, who was lying on the ground, attempting to stand.
Guts’ weapon, the Dragon Slayer, unintentionally revealed the manifestation of the Beast of Darkness, which would become important in Berserk chapter 374. When the Beast saw Guts’ pitiful plight, he chuckled, causing a wave of emotions that fueled Guts’ fury. The protagonist reacted quickly, grasping his weapon and standing tall once more. Griffith came and forced Guts to vomit, causing him to lose consciousness, just as he was about to hit the beast. This was the chapter’s culminating moment.
