Walmart Shooting: Chesapeake Rampage Suspect Andre Bing “Targeted” Teenager
A 16-year-old boy has been named as one of the people killed in the mass shooting at the Walmart in Chesapeake.
Fernando Chavez Jr. and five other people were killed when gunman Andre Bing opened fire at the department store on Tuesday. At least four other people were hurt.
On the gunman’s phone, there was a scary “manifesto” where he explained why he shot and killed so many people in Virginia before Thanksgiving.
Investigators are trying to figure out why the horrible things that happened in the break room were done. Witnesses have told them what happened.
Local media heard from a law enforcement source that Bing was “upset” about a recent change in his employment status and that he was being “harassed” by other employees.
A former coworker also said he was paranoid about the government watching him and didn’t like being recorded. During the attack, one witness says she saw him go after specific people.
President Joe Biden said yesterday that the shooting and the massacre at an LGBT+ club in Colorado Springs over the weekend showed how important it is to ban “sick” assault weapons that don’t do anything good for society.
