His ex-wife Audrey Gryphon accused the former NBA star of terrible deeds in a lengthy Tweet after the remarks. She wondered how he got away with it, all the while escorting some of the league’s best reporters.
“How can someone continuously get away with abuse, almost take a life choking them while on the floor and almost passes out, throw them into a wall making a hole as big as their body, drag them across a lawn while pregnant, drag them out the house in their pj’s in zero below weather …”
“Breaks down locked doors to get to them, gives them STD’s, sleeps with prostitutes, sleeps with a teen age ball girl??? And even though you have receipts for EVERYTHING!!!! How can you do ALL of this and still get away with it?? I will tell you how… just be in the NBA and win a game in the bubble. Cinderfella.”

Adrian Griffin’s Professional Career
Griffin was not chosen in the NBA draft of 1996. He played in the American minor leagues and Italy (seven games with Cordivari Roseto from July to October 1998) for the first three years of his career.
Griffin made the 1997 All-Rookie First Team while he was a member of the Connecticut Pride of the Continental Basketball Association. He was named to the Pride’s All-Defensive and All-CBA First Teams in 1998.
While leading the Pride to the CBA championship in 1998–1999, Griffin was named the Finals Most Valuable Player. In addition to his selection to the All-CBA First Team and All-Defensive Team, he was also named the CBA’s Most Valuable Player.
From 1999 to 2000, Griffin participated in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Boston Celtics. In his debut season, he averaged 7 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.61 steals per game.
He spent six seasons as a player with the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, and Chicago Bulls, averaging 4.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and one steal per game. Making the starting lineup for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2006 NBA Finals was one of the highlights of my career.
After spending one season with the Mavericks, Griffin signed a three-year contract with the Chicago Bulls on July 17, 2006. On February 21, 2008, Griffin was a part of an 11-player deal that also featured players from the Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Chicago Bulls.
