The anime Farming Life in Another World is based on a set of light novels by Kinosuke Naito with pictures by Yasumo. It was first published on the website Shsetsuka ni Nar (Let’s Become Novelist), which lets people write and share their own novels, in December 2016. It was later bought by Enterbrain, which printed the books and put pictures in them.
The first book in the series came out on October 30, 2017, and the last one was published on December 28, 2022. So far, ten books of the light novel have come out, and it is still being written. Two of the ten volumes were used in full for the first season of the anime. This left us with more than eight volumes of information, which is more than enough to make not just one but three seasons of the anime.
So, if you want to keep reading the books after watching the show, you can start with volume 3 and go on.
There are currently eight volumes of original material to adapt, which is good news because it means Studio ZERO-G has more than enough material to start working on a new season right away. Also, the series is still going on, with new books coming out all the time, which is a big plus for getting a sequel.
Also, this shows that the production committee sees “Campfire Cooking in Another World” as a long-term investment by adapting only two books over 12 episodes and keeping a perfect pace, just like “Eminence in Shadow” and “Magical Revolution” did.
Rather than just using it as a way to promote the book and try to adapt too much of it, as in the “Genius Prince” anime, which had an uneven story build-up, a lack of character development, and an uneven pace. This means that the production team was already thinking about a second season when they were planning the first one. Now, the only thing stopping it is whether or not it will make money.

Farming Life in Another World Season 2 Expected Cast
Ryichi Kuraya is in charge of the animation for Farming Life in Another World, and Touko Machida is in charge of the series’ music. Johannes Nilsson and Yasuharu Takanashi are the people who wrote the music.
Yoshiko Sait, along with Kiyotaka Nakahara and Ysuke Isouchi, is the Chief animation director. She is in charge of making the characters. Masaki Utsunomiya is in charge of editing the series, and Hiroshi Kato is in charge of putting up the art.
“Flower Ring” by Shino Shimoji and Aya Suzaki is the beginning theme song, and “Feel the Winds” by VTuber Hizuki Yui is the ending theme song.
