When asked by adult fans to perform his Din Djarin voice for children, Pedro Pascal refuses.
The 47-year-old Mandalorian Star said he feels this way because he thinks his character talks in a “creepy” way.
“People come up to me and ask me to be the voice for their kids. But it doesn’t sound right. During the Graham Norton Show on Friday, Pascal said: “As Reported By Insider.”
He said his hesitation was because of something he thought was seductive: “Because it’s a breathy, low-register bedroom voice.”
Pascal added, “It’s so creepy and doesn’t work in real life.”
The third season of The Mandalorian will start on March 1. The trailer demonstrates how Din Djarin handles possessing the first Mandalorian Jedi’s Darksaber.
Pascal, who is also well-known for his roles in Game of Thrones and Narcos and for hosting Saturday Night Live earlier this month, talked about how he has been able to get iconic roles on hit TV shows.
Pascal joked on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show on February 2 that it was just a matter of luck and doors opening at the right time.
He joked at the time, “And that’s it; I’ll do Saturday Night Live, and then they’ll tell me, “You’re retired, buddy.” “I’m not responsible for it.” The door opens, and you say, “Let me in!”
