Then there was the Lana Cult, made up of fans of Lana Del Rey. We can’t forget the Mexican horchata cult, hamster cult either.
Now, a new one called the Vegeta Cult is taking over Tiktok.
What Is The Tiktok Viral Trend Vegeta Cult?
The Vegeta Cult is just like it sounds. It’s a group of Tiktok users who love Vegeta, the anti-hero character made famous by Dragon Ball Z and other shows and manga set in the same universe. Vegeta is the prince of a race of aliens called the Saiyans. He is famous for being proud and changing from an enemy to a reluctant hero.
On June 15, 2021, Tiktoker user @ vegetatard uploaded a video featuring Vegeta wearing a green jacket similar to the one he wore in Dragon Ball Super: Broly. The video was meant to announce his return from a recent ban. On June 28, he posted a video showing a screenshot of many fake accounts with the same profile picture and names like “Vegetarduncle” and “Vegetardstepmom,” as if they were part of the user’s “family.”
The Tiktoker posted a new video on July 8 that showed even more people who had changed their PFPs to Vegeta. On July 30, he declared that the Vegetarian Cult had begun. On August 1, he posted a video that showed several Photoshopped PFPs with Vegeta’s jacket. The video received over 300,000 views in five days.
How To Join The Vegeta Cult
To join the Vegeta Cult, your new profile picture must be of an anime character wearing Vegeta’s famous green “sab” jacket. There are already pictures of many characters wearing jackets on the Internet. Once you’ve decided on a surface, all you have to do is change your profile picture.
