In July 2022, a special one-hour spin-off episode focusing on Ryusui Nanami aired alongside the announcement. The title of Season 3 was revealed at the conclusion of the special as Dr. Stone: New World.

Dr. Stone Season 3: Plotline
Season 3 of Dr. Stone will adapt the Age of Exploration plot, picking up where Season 2 left off. Even the Treasure Island chapter from the manga could be included.
The anime will cover chapters 83 to 138, bringing the story to life on our screens. With also marks the beginning of the petrification saga’s origin.
The Kingdom of Science and the Empire of Might will work together in Season 3 to discover the truth about petrification. The crew will be hard at work constructing the Perseus, a ship that will set sail in search of answers.

How Many Chapters Will Season 3 Of Dr. Stone Have?
Dr. Stone season 3 has 56 available chapters, which is sufficient for the third season. There were 18 chapters remaining after season 2, which was insufficient for season 3, so a 38-chapter Treasure Island arc was added. By combining the chapters of both arcs, 56 chapters are produced.
