After seeing him perform live, Underwood said that it made her want to become a musician. “There is truth in every song by Alan Jackson, because his powerful voice tells us about hope and heartache, fun and friendship, tragedy and success,” she said.
She then sang the 2003 hit “Remember When” before the other singers joined her. Jackson got up on stage at the end of the show and gave it his all to sing “Don’t Rock the Jukebox.”

Alan Jackson had to cancel shows because of his ongoing health problems before he could perform at the CMA Awards. People say that the country legend has had Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease since last year. According to the Mayo Clinic, the medical condition damages nerves in the arms and legs.
In some cases, it is not life-threatening, but it did make it hard for the singer to move and keep her balance. In a previous interview with the “TODAY Show,” the musician said that he has had the condition for ten years and has been having trouble keeping his balance in front of the microphone while performing.
