Dakota Johnson doesn’t want people to know about her relationship with Chris Martin of Coldplay.
“We’ve been together for a long time, and we sometimes go out, but we both work so much that it’s nice to be at home and cozy and private,” the 32-year-old star of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” said in an interview with Elle UK that came out Thursday.
“The partying happens mostly at my house.”
Johnson has been dating Martin, who is 44 years old, since 2017. She also told the outlet that she thinks she acts both younger and older than she is. “I feel 48 and 26 at the same time,” she said. “I’ve been through a lot in my life. I did a lot of things when I was young, so I guess that makes me feel older.”
The “Social Network” actress is a bit of a homebody. She said that even though she “should get a little bit fucked up” on a Friday night, “drinking tea and watching TV is appealing” to her because she works so much.
In January, Johnson and Martin moved into their dream home in Malibu. The $12.5 million houses has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and a large 5,338-square-foot modern Cape Cod estate.
Since December 2020, people have been saying that the couple is now engaged, but they haven’t confirmed it yet.
But that hasn’t stopped them from talking about how much they love each other in public. During a Coldplay show in London in October at Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Martin dedicated one of his songs to Johnson, whom he called his “universe.”
The rocker told the crowd, “This is about my universe, and she’s here,” as the band started to play their new song “My Universe,” which was written with BTS.
Johnson thanked him by putting her hands together, then threw them both in the air and started dancing to the new song.
Martin was once married to Gwyneth Paltrow. He has a 17-year-old daughter named Apple and a 15-year-old son named Moses with her.
