Maci Bookout McKinney (born Maci DeShane Bookout on August 10, 1991) is a reality television personality, author, and public speaker from the United States. She gained national notoriety after being cast in the reality television series 16 and Pregnant in 2009, which captured the pregnancies and initial months of parenting for various young women. Later that year, she was cast in the spin-off series Teen Mom, which she appeared in all four seasons till it ended in 2012. Bookout, along with Catelynn Baltierra, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham, returned to MTV in March 2015 for the fifth season of Teen Mom OG.
Rumors About Divorce
On March 22, 2021, the couple purchased 48 acres of land in Cleveland, Tennessee for $339,000.
According to Tennessee property records, no structures have been developed on the 48-acre plot of land as of 2022.
Maci’s Bachelorette Pad
This comes amid divorce rumors after Maci purchased a bachelorette apartment in her name only.
Each cottage is 525 square feet and rests on moreover an acre of land, according to Tennessee property records.
There are two bedrooms and one complete bathroom in each cottage.
The living area in the Realtor photos has carpeting and opens into the kitchen.
The kitchen contains oak cabinetry, beige tile flooring, and granite counter tops.
Carpet is used in the two bedrooms, and the bathroom has a plain white tile pattern.
The villas, erected in 1976, have breathtaking views of Wolftever Creek.
The homes are described as a “rental income potential” on the real estate website.
Her home in Ooltewah, Tennessee, is a 20-minute drive from her married residence with spouse Taylor.
Marriage problem
Maci’s decision to purchase real estate on her own comes amid marital problems with Taylor. Taylor did not appear on Teen Mom: Family Reunion, despite the fact that other spouses appeared on the spinoff.
During filming, Maci said her spouse was at home with their children.
She also failed to acknowledge her husband on Valentine’s Day.
Her final photo with her husband was uploaded in early October to commemorate their five-year wedding anniversary.
On-Air Flight
Maci and Taylor discussed their marital problems on last season’s TMOG.
During the season finale, the pair attempted to rekindle their marriage by going on a romantic dinner date.
Maci and Taylor began the show by sitting down at a restaurant and eating their appetizer.
Taylor remarked, “Isn’t it strange how strangely calm it is?”
“I’m going to need earphones for you eating that toast,” Taylor commented after he bit into it loudly.
“There’s no delicate, silent way to eat those,” her husband replied.
He then spilled a piece on the table by accident, to which Maci replied, “Bless your heart.”
“Thought this was going to be a quiet evening,” Taylor added after an uneasy silence.
“I’m going to bed,” Maci replied, leaning forward and resting her head on both arms of the table.
In another episode, Maci slammed Taylor for having a friend bring up their daughter Jayde from school when Maci was sick in bed.
She expressed her displeasure with him “making decisions concerning the kids” without consulting her.
Taylor said, “Next time you have anything to do, especially with our kids, either don’t do it or run it by me beforehand.”
