Leorio Paradinight is one of the several characters in Hunter x Hunter. She is a member of the series’s adored primary quartet with Gon, Killua, and Kurapika. Many have been puzzled about Leorio’s age due to his look among the other three characters. Why is the mingling with a group of children?
Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter started publication in 1998 in Weekly Shonen Jump. The manga is not yet complete but postponed due to the mangaka’s health. Two anime adaptations exist—one by Nippon Animation in 1998 and another by Madhouse in 2011.
It is the narrative of Gon Freecss, a young boy who wishes to follow in the footsteps of his father, Ging, and become a Hunter. Hunters are a unique subgroup of society members that possess powers that may be utilized to locate valuable things, animals, and even persons.
To become a Hunter, one must pass the arduous and rigorous Hunter Exam, which only a small percentage of candidates pass each time.
Leorio is introduced as one of Gon’s fellow examinees at the very beginning of the narrative. His motivation for taking the Hunter Exam is to become a doctor, which requires a significant financial investment—which will no longer be an issue once he becomes a Hunter.

I’m as taken aback as the other three. Leorio’s distinctive appearance consists of a dark blue business suit and a briefcase. This does not always scream “19-year-old.” However, Leorio is only one of several anime characters that do not seem to be their age.
