The Post can report that an ex-Disney Channel star is still in jail four days after pleading not guilty to a misdemeanor domestic violence charge in Ohio.
Lima Municipal Court says that Orlando Brown, 35, is being charged with aggravated threatening after a fight on Thursday.
The star of the show “That’s So Raven” has not asked for a public defender. Court officials told The Post that he would be put on electronic house arrest if his $25,000 bond is paid and he gives a real home address in Ohio.
Brown is not allowed to have a weapon, talk to the claimed victim, or return to the property where the fight is said to have happened.
The Post asked Brown’s company, Young Starr Entertainment, for comment, but they didn’t reply. The Lima Police Department got a call Thursday about a fight when they arrested the former child star.
A man named Matthew Sanders told police that he had been letting Brown live in a house he was fixing up for the past two weeks because Brown “is homeless” and he “did not want him to go to a homeless shelter,” according to a police report received by Post.
Sanders is called Brown’s “blood brother” in the story, but TMZ says that Sanders and Brown are not related. Sanders could not be reached by the Post to get his opinion.
Sanders told the police that he went to Brown’s house Thursday morning to check on the repairs and Brown. According to the police report, Brown “started yelling at him and was acting crazy.”
“Matthew said as he got up to the house, Orlando came out. Orlando had a hammer in one hand and a broken-off knife blade in the other hand,” the report stated.
“Matthew said Orlando said he (Matthew) was raping his wife (Orlando’s wife), and he was going to get him for that. Orlando was swinging both of the items at Matthew, but he did not make contact with him. Orlando eventually put the items down.”
In the police report, Brown’s wife is not named, but a woman named Danielle Brown says she is his wife and posts pictures of them on social media. The Post asked Danielle Brown for her thoughts. It’s not clear where she was when the thing happened.
The police said they found a knife blade and a hammer on the living room floor.
“It seemed to the officers that Orlando has mental problems and is making things up,” the police report said.
Police say Sanders was charged with domestic abuse, but at his arraignment on Friday, the charges were changed to misdemeanor aggravated menacing. Brown is in the Allen County Jail because he can’t pay a $25,000 cash bail.

The former actor and singer first appeared on the big screen in the 1995 Damon Wayans comedy “Major Payne.” He went on to be in several famous family shows, like “Family Matters” and “Two of a Kind,” before playing Eddie Thomas on the Disney Channel show “That’s So Raven,” which ran from 2003 to 2007.
The arrest on Thursday is the latest in a series that started in 2007. In 2018, he was caught almost every other month on charges like burglary, drug possession, resisting a public officer, and domestic battery.
Brown met with Dr. Phil McGraw on an episode aired in December 2018 after a challenging year in which he showed off a tattoo of his former co-star Raven Symoné on his chest.
He said he had problems with drugs, homelessness, and mental health. He later said he had smoked weed before the show and went to a rehab center after the show.
