On March 1, 1966, Zachary Edward Snyder was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. His parents, Charles Edward Snyder, an executive recruiter, and Marsha Manley, a painter and photography instructor, were also there.
Raised in Riverside, Connecticut, his mother suggested that he attend the Heatherley School of Fine Art in England to study photography following high school. Next, he studied at Pasadena, California’s Art Center College of Design.
