Speaking of his daughter’s emergency surgery and subsequent hospital stays doing so revealed that she has been in and out of the hospital he broke down in tears. He announced that his upcoming tour dates in Nashville and Austin would be postponed for the following week, emphasizing how serious the situation was. He added that because of this circumstance, he will not be making a podcast appearance for the first time in twelve years.
