Preston Lord’s Parents Statement After Talan Renner’s Arrest
Talan Renner, a 17-year-old from Gilbert, was charged along with three others for the murder of 16-year-old Preston Lord, who was beaten to death at a Halloween party in Queen Creek on October 28th, last year.
Lord succumbed to his injuries two days later at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Following Lord’s death, which was investigated as a homicide, police conducted a raid with assault weapons and search warrants at the Renner family residence in November.
