Eddie Huang, a famous name in the food world, owns the BaoHaus restaurant in New York City. He was born in Washington, D.C. on March 1, 1982, and his occupation goes beyond owning restaurants. Eddie is a producer, food expert, and author as well. Louis Huang and Jessica Huang, his parents, left Taiwan to settle in the United States. Evan and Emery, Eddie’s two younger brothers, work as restaurant owners.
Eddie’s father, Louis, owned and operated several popular steakhouses and seafood eateries, such as Cattleman’s Ranch Steakhouse and Atlantic Bay Seafood & Grill. The Huang family has strong ancestry in the regions of Shandong and Hunan in China.
