Holly Williams, a Nashville, Tennessee resident who worked as an escort using the pseudonym “Layla Love,” and Bill Lanway, her former partner, found themselves entangled in a grim and malevolent scheme that ultimately led to their demise. Their paths crossed with Erik Maund, a prosperous executive of a car dealership from Austin, Texas.
Maund had engaged in a romantic relationship with Holly, setting off a chain of events that ended tragically. The situation escalated dramatically when Maund agreed to compensate Brockway and Carey for the assassination of Lanway and Holly. On the 12th of March, 2020, both Laneway and Holly were abducted and subsequently murdered at a construction site.
