Duelo, a well-known Mexican norteño band from Roma, Texas, is also known as Grupo Duelo or Duelo Norteño. They started making music in the early 2000s and went on to become well-known. The group performs music in the style known as northeastern norteño, which combines Texan and Mexican rhythms. Tejano music also encompasses their sound.
Ñscar Iván Treviño, Dimas López, Pedro Flores, Iván Torres, David Badillo, and Andy Pruneda are among the band members. As an affiliated producer, Leandro Francisco “Pakito” Hernández is also a member of the group.
What Happened to Grupo Duelo?
On February 18, members of the Mexican band Grupo Duelo were involved in a car accident while en route to perform at the Noche Del Vaquero show in San Antonio. The incident occurred on the Monterrey-Reynosa highway in the early morning hours, shortly after their performance at Arena Monterrey.
A spokesperson has confirmed that several band members sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical care at various hospitals. Due to these unfortunate circumstances, Grupo Duelo’s scheduled performance at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo has been canceled until further notice.
