TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger says this kind of injury will likely be looked at and maybe even fixed at the GM meetings in a week.
Evander Kane of the Edmonton Oilers similarly hurt his arm earlier this year and had to miss 32 games while he healed. With 81 points, the Stars and the Minnesota Wild are tied for first place in the Central Division. They will play on Thursday.
