Trump ‘Called Home’ To Melania In 2018 While She Was On A Foreign Trip!!
Yesterday in an interview, the US president Donald Trump claims that he ‘called home’ to Melania while she was on a foreign trip in 2018. Trump also mentioned in the call that he felt sorry for not be able to present in the World War I memorial in France. During that time, the White House said that Donald Trump could not attend the memorial ceremony due to bad weather conditions and hence he has cancelled the visit.
Donald Trump said that he, “I called home, I spoke to my wife and I said ‘I hate this. I came here to go to that ceremony.’ And to the one that was the following day which I did go to. I said I feel terribly. And that was the end of it.”
As per the Atlantic report, Trump ardently denied the fact that he cancelled the visit to a World War I memorial in France because he was worried about his hair. He also added that the cemetery is “filled with losers.”
“Due to inclement weather, the First Lady and President were unable to visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial in Belleau, France.” This was reported by the first lady office.
Few reports also revealed that, on the evening of the memorial ceremony Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump went to a dinner together organised by French President Emmanuel Macron.
After cancelling the visit to the cemetery, no aides cautioned Trump that it wasn’t the correct thing to do. Even he blamed everything on Gen. Kelly attended the cemetery in place of Trump on that day.
Some people said that, on Saturday. Trump, the US president spent the whole day in the US ambassador’s residence by watching television.
