The Falcon And The Winter Soldier Might Return To Prague, Continue Production

The Falcon And The Winter Soldier is one of the shows that’s going to kick-off the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4. It’s coming alongside Loki, WandaVision and many others on Disney+. As of right now, though, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’s production is on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Falcon And The Winter Soldier Resuming Production Soon

However, it seems like the cast and crew are gearing up to go back in front of the camera. We get this information from Murphy’s Multiverse. They spotted a Facebook post from a Czech casting agency which seems to indicate that The Falcon And The Winter Soldier will resume production.

This isn’t a huge surprise to anyone. The show’s leads, Anthony Mackie (Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) have both indicated that this would happen sometime soon.

Anthony Mackie Spoke About The Falcon And The Winter Soldier Continuing

Anthony Mackie said so in an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

“We have a little bit more to go back and do, but everybody rest assured, it will come out. We are not cancelled. Because you know, in this business, ‘Take a little break, we’ll come back to it,’ that means they’re never coming back to it [laughs]. I was like, ‘Man, I was Captain America for all of two weeks, this sucks! How did I get fired on my day off?'”, Anthony Mackie said, per comicbook.com.

Sebastian Stan Said The Falcon And The Winter Soldier Only Had Weeks Left

Sebastian Stan’s previous statements on this subject also indicate something similar. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter back in April, he said that they were only a few weeks away from finishing things on The Falcon And The Winter Soldier. He also spoke about the show’s tone, and that personally gets me excited.

“What I loved about it was that, tonally, it was very much in the same world that Captain America: The Winter Soldier was, which was one of my favorite experiences that I’ve ever had, period. So, in a sense, it was grounded and very much in the world as we know it,” he said.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s best movies. The Falcon And The Winter Soldier also has a more direct connection with that movie, with Emily Vancamp reprising her role as Sharon Carter.

The other Disney+ show that’s on hold, Loki, is still suspended, though. We also haven’t heard from Loki actor Tom Hiddleston on when the show’s production will resume. Let’s hope that changes soon.
