Sushant Singh Rajput’s Apparent Suicide Leads To Suspicion Among Many

Sushant Singh Rajput, a popular actor in both Bollywood films and television, has passed away. He was found hanging at his Bandra apartment today in an apparent suicide. The actor was 34 years old.

His ex-manager, Disha Salian, also apparently committed suicide just a few days ago. While we don’t know anything for certain, the proximity of these two incidents has led to some speculation. Suicide, unfortunately, is quite a common occurrence in today’s society.

However, due to the manner of Salian and Rajput’s passing, and the fact that both of these incidents have occurred in a matter of days, many are suspecting some sort of foul play.

In his last social media post, Sushant Singh Rajput uploaded an old, black-and-white picture of his late mother. While it’s not conclusive, it may give us a glimpse into his state of mind recently. He also wrote a touching poem as the post’s caption.

“Blurred past evaporating from teardrops
Unending dreams carving an arc of smile
And a fleeting life,
negotiating between the two…
#माँ ❤️”, he wrote.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s mother passed away in 2002 when the actor was only a teenager. He had expressed sadness at the fact that she couldn’t be around to witness his success in the past. “I am sure she would have been really happy and proud of me,” he said in an interview with DNA.

He made his Bollywood debut with 2013’s Kai Po Che, which was an adaptation of Three Mistakes Of My Life by Chetan Bhagat. He also went on to play M.S. Dhoni in the cricketer’s biopic, titled “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”.

We’ve seen an outpouring of condolences from people across the country following this tragic news. “Life is fragile and we don’t know what one is going through. Be kind. #SushantSinghRajput Om Shanti,” tweeted Virender Sehwag.

Before his Bollywood debut, Rajput made a name for himself on the small screen in shows like Pavitra Rishta. His last theatrically released film was 2019’s Chhichhore.
