Sumner Stroh, an Instagram model, has accused Adam Levine of cheating on his pregnant wife, Behati Prinsloo, with her.
In a TikTok video posted Monday, the Texas native, 23, shared screenshots of a conversation she allegedly had with the Maroon 5 frontman, 43, on Instagram.
Levine quickly denied Stroh’s allegations, but admitted he “crossed the line” by communicating with her via social media. Here’s everything you need to know about the alleged affair’s social media influencer.
What Was Allegedly Said In The Messages From Stroh And Levine?
Stroh claimed in her explosive TikTok video, which has been viewed over 15 million times, that the “Wake Up Call” singer “manipulated” her.
“I was basically having an affair with a man who was married to Victoria’s Secret model.” “At the time, I was young, naive, and, to be honest, I felt exploited,” she began. “Because I wasn’t in ‘the scene’ like I am now, I was very easily manipulated.”
“Maroon 5 is practically elevator music at this point,” Stroh continued, “so I’m sure you know who Adam Levine is.” But Adam and I had been dating for about a year. This is how he came back into my life after I stopped talking to him for months.”
She then displayed a screenshot of an Instagram direct message (DM) that Levine allegedly sent her in June.
“All right, serious question. I’m expecting another child, and if it’s a boy, I’d like to name him Sumner. Are you okay with that? “DEAD serious,” read the message, referring to the child he is expecting with Prinsloo.
“I was like… I must be in hell at this point,” Stroh went on. “Unknowingly, my morals were harmed.” “I was completely duped.” In another message, which appeared behind her via a green screen, the Grammy winner allegedly wrote, “It is truly unreal how f-king hot you are.” “It blows my mind.”
“I mean, I think the same,” Stroh appeared to respond. “When I saw you in person, I was like… I’m f-ked.” “You are 50 times hotter in person,” according to another DM allegedly sent by the “She Will Be Loved” singer. And I am, too, hahahah.”
Why Did Stroh Make The Alleged Affair Public?
The model stated that she “wanted to handle” matters “privately” at first and “never wanted to come forward.”
She did, however, claim that someone in her circle attempted to sell the screenshots to a tabloid.
“I understand the implications of doing what I do — making money the way I do and being an Instagram model,” she explained. “So being associated with a story like this… I’m aware of stereotypes.”
“I had sent some screenshots, recklessly, to a few friends I thought I trusted, and one of them had tried to sell [the screenshots] to a tabloid, so here I am,” Stroh continued.
When Did The Alleged Affair Occur?
Stroh told Page Six exclusively that her relationship with Levine began “last year,” when she “graduated college.”
She then claimed that she and Levine dated for “about a year” and that he reappeared months later when he inquired about naming his next child after her.
What Does She Do For A Living?
Stroh was born in Houston, Texas, according to her Facebook page, and studied business and advertising at the University of Texas at Austin from 2016 to 2020, according to her LinkedIn.
She now works as a marketing manager and models and influences on Instagram, where she has over 370,000 followers.
According to the Verge Agency’s website, she is represented and has a presence on YouTube, TikTok, and OnlyFans.
Is There A Response From Levine?
The Maroon 5 singer responded to the allegations on his Instagram Story on Tuesday. “I used poor judgment in speaking in ANY kind of flirtatious manner with anyone other than my wife,” he began his statement. “I did not have an affair, but I crossed the line during a difficult period in my life.”
Levine stated that his interactions became “inappropriate” in “certain instances.” “I’ve addressed that and taken proactive steps to address it with my family,” he added.
“In this world, all I care about is my wife and my family.” To be so naive and stupid as to put the only thing that truly matters to me at risk was the biggest mistake I could ever make. I’ll never do it again. I accept complete responsibility. We will get through it, and we will do so together.” Levine and Prinsloo, 34, have been married since July 2014.
The couple has two daughters, Dusty Rose, 5, and Gio Grace, 4, and announced last week that they are expecting their third child.
