The friendship between American journalist Stephanie Ruhle and Under Armour chief Kevin Plank has come under scrutiny again after a recent story shed some insight on their relationship. According to recently revealed records Plank provided the MSNBC host with a personal cellphone and email account that was used for around-the-clock contact. The MSNBC host is at the center of a potential media scandal since she allegedly used her position to assist Under Armour in correcting issues.

Under Armour stockholders filed a lawsuit against Bloomberg, where Ruhle worked from 2011 to 2016, before leaving for MSNBC, a Comcast company. These court filings, which had been sealed until now, reveal new details about the nature of Ruhle’s relationship with Plank.
