Myers started out as an Infantry Officer and got a title from The Citadel. Later, he became a Judge Advocate General. As a judge in the Military, he has many jobs, such as running trials, figuring out what the law is, judging how proof is presented, and running hearings and trials in the courtroom.
He started the Swansea Mentoring Program for young people in Swansea, where he grew up. Stanley L. Myers is a partner at the South Carolina law company Moore Bradley Myers. He focuses on personal injury law, workers’ compensation law, criminal defense law, and military law.

Stanley L. Myers, a beloved South Carolinian and MBM partner, died at the age of 47. Christian Spradley, the managing partner of MBM, asked people in the community to pray for Stanley’s wife, Tashia, and their two young children.
Myers was chosen for the Citadel Board of Visitors because he went to Citadel and was the regular quarterback for the Bulldogs for four years. He was also on the board of directors for the Lexington Medical Center and started the Swansea Mentoring Program.
Stanley was happy to host the Town of Swansea’s Bike Bonanza every Christmas. In the year 2022, Myers opened Countryside BBQ in Swansea. His service to the community and willingness to give back were unmatched.
South Carolina Lawyers Weekly chose Myers as a 2023 Leadership in Law Honoree because he is a lawyer. As a Captain, Myers was sent to Afghanistan with the 218th Infantry Brigade to help with Operation Enduring Freedom. He was a Lieutenant Colonel who worked at McEntire Joint National Guard Base as the Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) for the 59th Troop Command.

Stanley Myers Cause of Death
The Citadel said Wednesday that one of its past football players and a member of the military college’s Board of Visitors has died. Stanley Myers, who graduated in 1998, died early Wednesday( 27 September 2023) morning.
The cause of death of Stanley Myers is not known yet. His law firm’s website says that Myers was a partner at Moore Bradley Myers in West Columbia and is now a Judge Advocate General.
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson wrote on Twitter: “My dear friend Stanley Myers passed away this morning,’ “I’m heartbroken. We served together in the National Guard & legal community for over 20 years. We lost a good one far too early. Please join Jennifer & me in praying for his family. Myers got a degree in political science from the South Carolina Corps of Cadets in 2014, and he has been on the board since then. The school said that he was given another term that will end in 2020. According to his bio, the quarterback from Swansea wore number 16 for the Bulldogs and started 43 out of 44 games as a quarterback.

Tributes to Late Military Judge Are Being Shared on the Internet
Stanley Myers died Wednesday morning in Lexington County. He was 47 years old. According to The State, he fell down during his morning walk with his pet dog. Even though he was taken to a nearby hospital right away, he could not be saved.
As soon as people heard about his death on the internet, coworkers, friends, and other people he knew came forward to pay their respects.
