It has already been confirmed that Slow Horses season 2 will air on Apple TV+ – and it has even been filmed! The first season has finally reached its decision: Hassan survived, Slough House was exonerated, Di Taverner got away with it (sort of), and everyone will live to fight another day. Except for Sid Baker, who was shot in the head and then “disappeared” by MI5 after he refused to cooperate.
It will have left you hoping for another season of this excellent, darkly comic spy thriller, and there will be one, and it will be released in the near future. Apple TV+’s decision to do so is a confidence in the service, and it is well-deserved.
It has become fairly popular in Mick Herron’s novel series, and this ensemble is doing an excellent job of portraying the many characters in the series.

Slow Horses Season 2 Release Date Information
Slow horses, the spy thriller series, has returned for a second season. In Season 2, the second novel in Mick Herron’s “Dead Lions” series of novels will be adapted for television.
According to Deadline, director James Hawes stated, “There is every expectation and hope that there will be another two seasons in the immediate future.” The first episode of the first season aired on Friday, April 1, 2022. An official sequel has been announced, though no specific release date has been announced, as previously stated.
In our opinion, the second season will most likely be released between the first and third seasons, roughly in the middle of the first and third seasons. For the time being, we’re estimating that Slow Horses Season 2 will be released sometime in late 2022.
Slow Horses Season 2 Cast Details
Several members of the Slow Horses cast have already confirmed their participation, including:

Olivia Cooke, whose character Sid was shot in the head during season 1, is one of the cast members whose comeback is not certain.
Despite Taverner’s suggestion that she had died in the finale, Roddy confirmed that her records had been erased, which meant that “she might still be alive somewhere” in the episode.
We’d venture a bet that Sid will return at some time in the future based on this suggestion.
Slow Horses Season 2 Plot
Minor spoilers follow, anticipating that the plot of Dead Lions will be season two. Dickie Bow, a former low-level informant for Jackson Lamb, embarks on a journey that takes him first on a train and then on a bus in search of a mysterious figure who he remembers from his past. The bow is found dead, allegedly as a result of natural causes, but Lamb is suspicious and uses his forlorn squad to rummage through long-buried secrets from the Cold War.
Because they are espionage secrets, they naturally do not stay hidden for long, and the United Kingdom soon finds itself facing a very real threat.
According to the premise of the pair, Louisa and Min Harper have their first kiss during the first season. Their mutual dislike for Struan grew organically into a friendship, which later flowered into a romantic relationship between them. Will the couple be able to make it, or will Slough House be persuaded to invest in other ventures at their expense? Last but not least, how is Robert Hobden doing? During the season one finale, Nick Duffy, M15’s chief of security, placed him directly in front of a speeding car in order to silence him.
It seems, that Hobden was well aware of Diana’s participation in Hassan’s kidnapping, and he wanted to make that information public. Will Hobden return after the audience has been kept guessing as to whether he has survived or died? Undeterred by the possibility of being exposed by MI5, will he go after British politician Sir Paul Jubsen in the process?
