Sarah Snook Is Going To Be A Mom!
Succession star Sarah Snook told everyone at the red carpet premiere of the show’s last season that she is pregnant with her first child.
“This is fun!” The 35-year-old Australian Actress Told Entertainment Tonight she was pregnant as she put her hand on her stomach. “I’m in good shape.”
This will be Snook’s and her comedian husband Dave Lawson’s first child. They got married in 2021.
Snook said she doesn’t think it will be “too much longer” before her new baby comes.
“How about two months? Well, I’m At 32 Weeks.”
She told the cast and crew of Succession that she was pregnant while filming the fourth season, but she said, “I mean, you couldn’t tell.”
She said, “Because it’s not very big, at least for now.”
Snook also talked about her unique plus one by telling Megan Ryte of the “extra” she brought, “Someone I haven’t met yet, but I’m close with.”
She joked that her Succession character, Shiv Roy, taught her “what not to do” as a mom. “I’m unsure if the Roy family is a shining example of good family values… I don’t think we could take direction from them.”
She said, though, that the series will end “a pretty classy way.”
After she and Lawson celebrated their second wedding anniversary, Snook made her announcement.
After being locked up together at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, the couple married in a secret ceremony in February 2021; the actress said the following October.
In the cover story for the November 2021 issue of Vogue Australia, she said, “At the start of the pandemic last year, I was locked up in Melbourne with one of my best friends, and we fell in love.”
Snook said that she and Lawson, 44, had been friends for years before they started dating. She said, “We’ve been friends since 2014; we’ve lived together, traveled together, and were always excited to see each other, but it was all platonic.”
“We’ve just never both been single simultaneously,” she added.
But once they started dating, Snook immediately knew their relationship was unique. The actress said she would ask Lawson to marry her on Halloween 2020.
“I asked her to marry me, and we got married in my backyard in February,” he said.
