Criminals in Gotham City should be careful because Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight has more to come, and we have all the details right here.
The success of Matt Reeves’ superhero movie meant that there would have to be a sequel, and there are many loose ends from The Batman that need to be picked up. In the DC movie, The Caped Crusader faced off against The Riddler, one of Batman’s most dangerous enemies (Paul Dano). But the Rogues Gallery still has a lot of people to fight.
You’ve come to the right place if you want to know more about when The Batman 2 will come out.

Is There A Trailer For The Batman 2?
No, there isn’t a trailer for The Batman 2. However, you can watch the fantastic first trailer for The Batman below:
Plot Of The Batman 2
Batman puts our hero and Gotham City in a situation that has never been done before in a Batman movie. Bruce Wayne may have stopped The Riddler from killing Gotham’s new mayor-elect, Bella Reál, but the whole city is now underwater. Gotham City is likely vulnerable to a hostile takeover because of the well-known No Man’s Land storyline and Scott Snyder’s New 52 run Zero Year.
Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves have both said they want to bring the Court of Owls and Dick Grayson into their movies (AKA Robin). The Court of Owls is a secret society that has been running Gotham for decades. It is made up of Gotham’s most influential and corrupt families and groups. Matt Reeves has shown that he is very good at big projects, so introducing this group of bad guys would be right in his wheelhouse.
It would be very different from how Robin is usually introduced, but putting Dick Grayson in the Court could be a new way to do so. The Court is known for taking kids from the Circus and training them to be assassins with a lot of skill. These kids are called Talons. Given that Grayson comes from The Flying Grayson’s circus act, it would be a risky move.
Who Will Appear, And Will There Be Any New Characters?
When Batman 2 comes out, Robert Pattinson will, of course, play Bruce Wayne/The Batman. Lieutenant James Gordon, played by Jeffrey Wright, and Alfred Pennyworth, played by Andy Serkis, will probably be back. Zo Kravitz might come back as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, but the character has moved away from Gotham City to Blüdhaven, which is where Nightwing will live in the future.
The Penguin, played by Colin Farrell, will be seen next in his HBO Max show. He or she will be out to make a name for themselves in Gotham’s criminal underworld. Paul Dano could play The Riddler in a minor role behind the bars of Arkham Asylum, where Barry Keoghan would play his new friend “Unseen Arkham Prisoner,” also known as The Joker.
The role of the latter was only hinted at the end of The Batman, but the film’s tie-in website Rataalada has revealed a cypher that suggests they will work together again in the future.
