Lewis starred in two movies in 1992: “The Danger of Love: The Carolyn Warmus Story” on television and “Once Upon a Crime.” The next year, he co-starred with Don Rickles on the Fox comedy “Daddy Dearest,” guest-starred on “Tribeca” and “The Larry Sanders Show,” and as Prince John in “Robin Hood: Men in Tights.”

He also played Edgar Allan Poe on “A.J.’s Time Travelers” (1995), appeared as a guest actor on “Tales from the Crypt” (1994) and “V.I.P.” (1999), and had a regular role as Harve Schwartz on Showtime’s “Rude Awakening” (1998).
